Trustlook's Integration with OKC (OKX Chain)

An AI support system should not try to complete every conversation. Some cases are sensitive, ambiguous, financially material, or simply outside the policies the system is allowed to apply.
In those situations, a human handoff is a security control.
Escalation should be triggered by more than a customer typing “agent.” Useful conditions include:
The agent should recognize these conditions early instead of forcing the customer through more automation.
A poor handoff makes the customer repeat the problem. A secure handoff passes the conversation, relevant records, actions attempted, policy checks, and the reason the case was escalated.
The receiving person should be able to see what the AI knows, what it does not know, and what it was prevented from doing.
When the system reaches a boundary, it should stop the risky action. It should not continue experimenting with account changes or financial transactions while waiting for a person.
The handoff state should also prevent duplicate actions if the customer sends another message or the original request times out.
Escalations are valuable operational data. Review them to identify missing knowledge, unclear policies, poor routing, and workflows that need better tooling.
Aissist.io describes escalation before customers ask when a case is sensitive, unclear, or outside policy, with the full conversation attached for the human team. (Aissist.io)
A high automation rate is not automatically a good result. Track whether handoffs happen at the right time and whether the person can resolve the case without starting over.
Useful measures include:
The goal of AI support is not to eliminate human judgment. It is to use automation for routine work and reserve people for situations where judgment, empathy, or authority is required.
A system that knows when to stop can be more trustworthy than one that tries to answer everything.
